I cant find my nokia n72 phone in nokia software update option

is it possible to download whatsapp on nokia N72?if yes pls how can i install it.

You need Nokia PC suite to reinstall the software. Go to this link to find all the softwares needed to update. First , install Nokia PC Suite. Then download the update and install it.

Solution :- Connect your phone to nokia PC suite, Then click on update phone software. After several minute software updating will complete. Nokia software update will download & install latest software from nokia.

you can upgrade the firmware instead by downloading the "nokia software updater" from the nokia site given below it is free

first you must download that and then you can upgrade the firmware of your cell ...

NOTE: never disconnect or power off during the firmware update this will damage your cell phone completely and after that even if you visit the nokia also they cant help you with that , so while doing that do it carefully ..

connect your phone to your pc, start nokia pc suite (which can be downloaded from nokia.com) then backup all your phones data onto your computer using the backup option in nokia pc suite main window. now click on software update in the main window. now the process of reinstalling the operating system of your phone will happen. but follow the instructions carefully.
