Have you tried NOT connecting your camera to your computer? The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.Have you tried NOT connecting your camera to your computer? Hello
I'm not a fan of EasyShare I had a 753 it never did recognize.Try uploading using your computer software. When easyshare asks what to do just close or cancel it.If your computer finds your camera hardware and asks what you would like to do choose copy to folder.Copy them to a folder you will be able to find.If you get them that far you can import to EasyShare later. Another thing you may check is if the pictures which aren't being uploaded happen to be locked in your Favorites folder.

If you are running Windows XP or Vista in computer, hook USB cable between camera and computer, power up camera, Windows will recognize it and install required drivers automatically, click My Computer, Removable Disk, click folder and copy picture files and paste in some where in computer.
