First remove the negative battery cable.
It has to be in the LOCK position...
remove the steering wheel.
on tilt wheel applications, remove the upper extension shroud by squeezing it at the top and bottom positions and popping it free of the retaining plate at the right.
remove the 2 trim shroud halves.
disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.
drill out the break off head bolts connecting the switch to the lock cylinder housing by using a
1/8 in. drill, and remove both bolts.
disengage the ignition switch from the actuator pin.

Without the key you must drill the lock guts out.
