My shaving head came apart and I can not re assemble it, kindly give me instructions

Wife cleaned bathroom shelf dropping the Arcitec. One of 3 heads was not aligned properly, when I tried to re-seat it, this head came apart. To put it back together takes some finesse and patience. Take a coil of stamps, or some other small opening to rest the outer plastic shell head, then insert the metal screen which has notches (2 small, 1 large) and fit it in the plastic shell head. Next put the metal blade assembly on the screen. Next align this on the metal (thin) pivot. When the outer plastic head, and the metal pivot are aligned (small peg holes), you can place the thin inner plastic piece on and gently press your sub assembly and the backing plastic together, It will snap together and hold. Don't FORCE it, the holes must be aligned on the outer plastic, the metal pivot frame, with blades resting on the screen. It does snap together. Work with fairly bright light to see what you are doing. If this fails, invest in a new head assembly for about 15% of the cost of the whole razor.

I have a Philips Norelco 7310XL razor and I have a problem. I recently moved, and in the process, something happened, and my razor isn't working. When I turn the razor on, the blades turn slightly and then...

It sounds like maybe one of the blades is damaged and it is jamming the whole thing. Try taking apart the head assembly and then insert each head one by one turning the shaver on in between each one. This should identify if one is damaged and causing the problem

If you require new heads, you will find them at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

Replacing batteries in Norelco Razor 7886XL

Chris, All rechargable shavers have their battery(ies) soldered to the main circuit board inside the razor. In order to replace the battery(ies), you will need to disassemble the shaver by carefully removing the molded plastic cover(s) that hide the screws (which hold the shaver together). Sometimes located under the shaver head on certain Norelco models, others are under pressed in covers on the back and/or front.

Once you've done that, you have to be very careful not to dislodge any of the mechanical connections from the motor to the cutting heads. With the board exposed, you'll see the batteries, soldered to the circuit board via tabs that are heat staked to the batteries. Note which way the polarity (+ or -) are located on the board. Take a digital picture to make replacement and reassembly easier when you're putting everything back together.

Now with a pre-heated soldering iron, melt off the solder on the battery terminals and remove them quickly. Do not heat the tabs any longer than needed, so as to avoid possible damage to the circuit board. With the batteries removed, you might have to open up the thru-holes where the battery tabs go in, in order to get the new ones in place. Solder them into place and you're almost done.

Now reassemble the shaver and allow the shaver to recharge for at least 8 hours.

If you have any doubts about doing the repair yourself, you can have the shaver repaired by a service in Nebraska that specializes in replacement parts and service for all brands of electric shavers.

They usually can turn around a repair in a week from reciept.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

My shaver head broke! PLEASE HELP ME!

I just fixed my husband's razor. I took everything out and washed it all. Then I took the three things that touch the skin and put them in the three holes so that they fit comfortably. Then I put the sharp parts inside those thin parts. The I took the gray thing with three holes and snapped the little brown thing to it and turned the arrows on the brown thing so it snapped it securely to the things with holes. Then I put the head onto the handle by sliding the hook into it's hole, than brought the head onto the handle and snapped it shut. It fell apart the first time I tried it but I put it all back together and after that it worked like a charm.
