I just got a cisco linksys wrt160n router. I am trying to get it to work for Linux run computers. can someone help me please.

I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that there is a model number wrt160n that has an 'l', for Linux on the end - wrt160NL. That model supports Linux. Good news is that you can flash your model, but you will have to change the firmware and 'flash' new firmware. It is a little drawn out process and I suggest you read carefully the information on the following web page. I looked ahead and found your model and verified that it has a flash upgrade for the firmware that is supported.
If you have never done a firmware upgrade, be careful it can be sticky, but most of the time it will go smoothly when you follow the instructions carefully.
