If you have a WLAN connection then switch it on and turn on the 'WLAN' toggle switch in your PSP 3004. Then access PSP via the WLAN. There's a icon for Downloading games from the PSP. Open it and connect through the WLAN to the internet.
If you not have a WLAN then go to "http://www.freeforpsp.com/" or "http://in.playstation.com/psp/games/" from your PC Browser and just download and transfer it into your PSP's Memory card. Or buy a Game Disc.
you will have to take the psp apart. From my last psp, i think you have to pretty much disassemble the psp in order to get to the mechanism, but then that was a psp1000. Idk about a 3000.
You have to switch on the wlan to play multiplayer because it uses wlan to play the game or your psp's wlan is broken or your friends receiver is broken pal.
1) Verify if Wi-Fi WLAN interface of your notebook is OK. 1a) Check whether HW switch is ON and the wireless system service is running. 1b) Switch on the WLAN Access Point (router) SSID broadcasting. 1c) Scan WLAN networks by the notebook. Can you see your home WLAN? If not, there is HW or SW problem in your wireless adapter probably. If WLAN is visible, continue by next steps.
2) Remove all WLAN security on both sides (AP and notebook): Authentication = none/open, encrytption = none. 3) Activate DHCP server in the router and set the dynamic IP assigning on WLAN notebook interface. 4) Select your home WLAN SSID in the list and try to connect. 5) Wait and check status. Is WLAN connected? Does obtain the notebook an IP address? 6) In success case set the WLAN security.
