How do I activate the Blue tooth on my ACER 4738 notebook

Normally there is a button to activate blue tooth features on your laptop or it may be software related.


If you find the button and its not activating you may need to re-install the driver.

Use Fn+F3 key combination to access blue tooth activation. Single key sequence for wireless & blue tooth. I just found this on my D270.

My Acer 4738 i5 have bluetooth don't work, and spkpe4.1 is not for win 7 64 bit, must download skype 5.3 to install

plug blue tooth up to windows it should let you get drivers from windows.

If your blue tooth working normal just double click your blue tooth icon on screen to activated your blue tooth.

Try installing the bluetooth driver from the driver disc that you should get when you bought the laptop. If it says bluetooth device is not found, push the bluetooth button once and try again. If it still says that the device is not found, then most probably your laptop have no bluetooth.

This is true for some Acer laptops that I've meddled with. I did what I said, assumed that there's no bluetooth device, only to have it confirmed by the owner that the seller already mentioned that his model have no bluetooth.

My acer aspire 1 doesnt have blue tooth built in check that first you might have to buy a dongle otherwise

Just download the drivers of blue tooth on your notebook correctly man.
then spam me if it wont work cuz i tell you what the next solutions ok.

update your driver installer all the mother board of the laptop, if the windows is windows vista download the installer from www.acer.com to get new drivers for blue tooth.
If windows xp is using as well download from acer.com.good luck

The quickest and easiest way i have found is to press the Fn button + the one that turns on your wireless networking if you have one.

But i looked up your system and it says it comes with blue tooth.
