A product key is a unique combination of 25 numbers and letters. The product key is used during Microsoft software installation to "unlock" or to open the product. If you do not enter the product key when you are prompted during the installation, the product may not open until you enter the product key. The product key is typically located on an orange or yellow sticker on the back of the CD case or the DVD case.

To obtain a new product key for your Office program, contact Microsoft and speak to a customer service representative. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support (http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support)

I have no 25 character product key and i need one so i can fix i resume

It should be located on the back or the inside of the Office 2007 pro container that the Office 2007 Pro DVD shipped in.

If you are using a trial version of office (which are often preinstalled on new systems) , and that has expired...you can purchase the key online from Microsoft at the going retail rate from, for example, here:
office.microsoft.com/en-au/buy/

and then activate the trial version using the purchased key.
This doesn't require you to reinstall your software, so long as you purchase the correct version.

OR you can alternatively download open office for free, from here:
www.openoffice.org/

It can open, edit, and save-as Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint documents and is completely free.

Depends on your needs, but I'd recommend the free option.

Hi. recently i had purchased dell inspiram laptop with windos 7 home premium inbuilt operating system.i also had microsoft office 2010 preloaded . i need 25 characters product key to use microsoft...

Hi,

Laptops that have pre-installed Microsoft Office in it usually have 60-day trial version or Microsoft Office starter. The trial version may be a Home edition and has the full features but will ask for a product key after the trial period expires. The MS Office Starter only has limited features for MS Word and Excel only, but this is not a trial version.

If you want to continue using the trial MS Office or want the full functionality of MS Word and MS Excel plus MS powerpoint etc, you need to follow the steps provided to activate or purchase a product key from the application itself. You need to purchase the product key from Microsoft since this program is unfortunately not free.

Hope this helps.

Do all Acer laptops come with a word processing program?

Hi.

Yes they do but they only come with a trial version of Microsoft Office. When the trial runs out you are required to purchase a product key from Microsoft to open the full office product. In most cases you cannot amend a document once the trial has run out.

If you don't want to pay for the MS Office suit then I recommend Open Office for your word processing. Open office works with Microsoft documents and is totally free!!!

You can download Open Office.org 3.3.0 and use it for free from the link I have provided below >>>>>

http://download.openoffice.org/

Hope this helps!!!

Where can i find the free microscoft word 2007 for downloading this in my pc..

MS Office is not a free program.
You will need to purchase a copy of MS Office which includes MS Word.
For an alternative free program OPEN OFFICE is a full-featured officesuite that's compatible with Microsoft Office.
If you want Open Office you can download this free program.

How to download microsoft office for free on windows 7

There is no free version unless you get Pirate software and we can't help with that. You can download a trial version from Microsoft but it will only work for 90 days unless you purchase it.

Could not find product key for office home and student 2007

If you recently purchased a new computer, a "trial" version of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 was installed.

After the trial-period ends (30 days? 60 days? 30 usages?) you must either purchase a "full" license-key, either at any retail store or online, or you can uninstall the software, and then
download and install FREE "office productivity" software, from: http://www.OpenOffice.org
which imitates Word & Excel & PowerPoint.

I bought a laptop with ms office 07 and the product key I have is invalid do i have to buy the program to use it even though it's allready on my computer?

The misconception that people always have is that any bundle software that is installed on a PC/Laptop are licensed! That is usually not the case. If it is shareware/commercial wares they are usually trial copies.

As for your Laptop the Operating System (OS) ie. licensed eg. (VISTA or WIN 7 or XP), should have a License sticker attached to your laptop.

As for the Software MS Office 2007 is a trial version for 60 days only!! When it expired you have to purchase the license to activate it. This software is given free for you to try and it is not as licensed copy!

Hope it helps.

Free microsoft office

Since the Trial of Office 2007 requires Activation after using the trial product key, even if you get another trial code, it won't activate. So you would have to covert your copy using a purchased product key.

Since you can't tell you where to find activation cracks, I can suggest that if you don't want to spend any money on Office, that you should try free Beta testing of the new Office 2010

You can't fine free copies of Microsoft Office, however, you can download OpenOffice. Its a free Office program and compatable with any Microsoft Office programs. Just go to this link and download a free copy: http://www.openoffice.org/ This is not a trial version and it works just like Microsoft only without the expense.

Product key

If it is a free download like you said then you cannot get a product key. You could try downloading it again. You should get the product key when you start the download. It would only be a trial however.
