We have a 80 series elec. dryer, today when the end of cycle buzzer sounded, when door was closed again...buzzer continues to buzz. I can't find a part number, if the end of cycle buzzer needs replacing. ...

Push the timer to a definate off position. Close the door. If it buzzes then more than likely you are getting power from the timer which could mean short in the timer. If you have the model # the parts places can easily find your parts.

When push start button, just buzzes, dryer will not start. The buzz is the sound the dryer would make to alert you that a load is done.

Mine does that if I don't select a drying time first. I would suspect your timer is to blame. When you are turning it to select a time, it is not registering inside the timer and it thinks it is still on 0 from the end of your last cycle.

Loud Buzzing Sound from Dishwasher

have you ever seen green led "Clean" light flashing? before or about the same time the buzzing sound started? and if so that would indicate that the control senses a fault in the temperature rise during the heating cycle and that the electronic control could be reset by initiating a service diagnostic cycle.(which is what you were trying to do) pls reread your manual there are times during that sequence that some buttons have to be pushed at the same time and within a certain amount of time..possible that your machine also has a bad timer which would give you a buzzing noise..if thats the case I would recommend replacing the cpu or control board..or the machin all together..The Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard name is sears but whirpool has the contract to produce all "kenmore products.hope that helps.

General Electric Heavy Duty Dryer willnot start when start button

WARNING: High Voltage may bzzt you... careful.

Your dryer thinks that it is at the end of a dry cycle.

First thing to do is disconect the dryer from the 220v mains and let it sit for about 10 min.

then, spin the timer four or five times around and then stop it at a TIMED dry cycle, not an automatic cycle. (example: 60 minutes).

Plug unit back into the wall.

SLAM door on unit and press button again...

Dryer work turn on, buzzes when start is pushed

It may be just your timer switch. Look at all the wiring first. The receptacle to the plug, cord and into the back of the dryer.
