Dump the junk you don't need , backup your iphone, then reset to factory specs. perform a restore from your compuiter and that should correct the isssue if you removed enough junk to make more space so the youtube app can run.
Try Resetting. Take a needle, safety pin or something else, push the pointy part into the hole with the lettering 'reset' (located on the bottom right side of the unit), until you feel you pressed something. Good Luck!

You need to clean the contacts inside the battery compartment. Do this with a Q-Tip dampened in rubbing alcohol. Take caution not to snag the small ejection spring at the outermost corner of the compartment.
