Hi, when you tried to access your facebook account what response did you get? Try this: make sure your username and password are entered correctly. If you have indicated that the browser remembers your username and password earlier, you should clear the browser cache and try logging in again. If you changed your location or are browsing with a different ip address from the one you've been using, facebook might put up some verification process for you to complete to prove you are the owner of the account. This is done to limit account hacking. Once you complete the verification process which is usually not more than a minute you'll be granted access to your account. Have you tried copy pasting the link into your browser address bar?
If you have reached your "password reset attempts limit" then you should seek assistance from the Facebook Customer Support/Care again and explain your situation. There is no way you can access your account on your own once the password reset attempt limit has been exhausted.
