Hoshizaki foster hfc134a ice machine the ice lifter just keeps dropping

Try this site for a manual. The ice thickness is controlled by the float switch. Most all Hoshi machines have adjustable floats. It starts the harvest as the water level drops.

small white button on control board. press once to stop beeping. Very small but it is labeled and very hard to see.

this machine is rated for 1,600 pounds of ice in 24 hours. would need more info to offer suggestions.

I am assuming that it has run two consecutive cycles. I would first clean the machine inside and out. it should drop ice once cleaned, if not then open up the control box and find out which lights are flashing. I am almost certain that once it is cleaned it will drop ice.

Do you hear the machine cycling like normal but just not dropping? Could be the hot gas solenoid. If you never hear it trying to drop that could be anything from a dirty condenser to dirty plates to bad ice thickness control. Run some ice machine cleaner through it and blow the condenser out.

Usually it's an ice thickness sensor that goes bad located on top of evaporator 1/2" away from it.

The machine will continue to run water all the time while in harvest mode. The control board blew, and just needs to be replaced. Controls boards can fry without any other signs of anything else being bad. Hoshizaki ice machines dont have a over heat relay that shuts it down upon oerheating if it is the control board
