It sounds like the flasher relay is stuck closed. It is located under the left side of the dash, to the right side of the steering column. Try replacing that and double check if you recently replaced any bulbs that they have the correct base for the sockets. Sometimes the bulb might look right but the base is slightly different. The correct turn signal bulb for your vehicle is a 2057, and an EL12 or FL12 for the flasher relay.

If you have checked all the bulbs,( sometimes in the rear there are two bulbs), the next thing is the signal flasher. To locate the flasher turn the right blinker on and listen for the flasher clicking, usually under the left side of dash by the steering column.

My left turn signal recently stopped working. Before ceasing to work, the turn signal (just the left) would blink very rapidly (machine gun speed).

sounds like one of light bulbs was malfunctioning and caused the flasher unit to blink rapidly and iy burned out. Replace front and rear turn lite bulbs and see if flasher flashes. if not check fuse and replace fuse. If fuse okay replace flasher unit. Good luck

Where is the turn signal flasher located in an 87 El Camino?

Under the dash on the left side of the steering wheel. You'll see the fuse panel. There is a flasher on the front side that you'll see and one one the backside. They are both the same. On is for the turn signal, one for the flasher.

Problem with turn signal when headlight is on

this sounds like a earthing problem , so check the wiring for the head lights, see if any wires are trapped between something, bare wire touching car body , anythingthat doesn't look correct, could also be the indicator lever itself with a problem , but check the headlight wiring first

LEFT REAR TURN SIGNAL IS NOT BLINKING. WHEN I PUT THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL ON IT LIGHTS UP BUT DOES NOT BLINK. ALSO MIGHT NOW BE RELATED BUT MY LEFT WINDOW WONT ROLL DOWN AND LEFT SIDE WONT POWER LOCK.

I doubt it is related. The blinker problem is most likely a bad bulb on that side. The window and lock problem may be a bad connection in the wiring harness in the door. Check the fuses as well.

My signal lights don't work on my 99 nissan Maxima

If neither your left or your right turn signals work, then it's most likely your electronic flasher unit that has gone bad. It's located under your dash near your steering column and will be labeled

Blinkers wont turn on its not the bulbs or fuses 01 tahoe

Did you replace the hazard/flasher/blinker relays?- they are in the fuse block usually.

This is weird, but try this: Turn on your hazard lamps and turn your steering wheel all the way left and all the way right.
Then turn on your left blinker and hold the blinker on while you turn all the way left, then right. It will click and try to turn it off but keep it held down and turned on. Then do the right blinker the same way.
I have had this problem with every GM I've ever had, something about the detent-return and the blinker relays getting reset. I'm not sure why it works, but if your flasher relays are good and your fuses, bulbs and wires are good then this is probably what will fix ya. I've had this happen often enough that I always do this first. My GM vehicles were/are all 60s to 90s models- old school, but try this before you do anything else with it it's free and only takes about 15 seconds to do. Sometimes I have to do it more than once, but eventually the detents reset and they work. Viola!
Good luck and please rate this solution if it fixes ya!

2001 Explorer Sport ,Rear Driver Brake Light and Turn Sig. Broke

Rear lights are double filament bulbs one side for the lights other side for the brake/turn signals so it still may be a bulb. Do u have a test light or volt meter you can check to make sure u have power there when brakes or turn signals are activated. Or just try another bulb.
