You can download Vista Drivers from sony's website and right click on the setup file go to properties and then select run this program under compability mode. this may help you on your driver issues also make sure that you install the drivers for the correct OS you have installed (32bit or 64bit) On the Webcam issue you have to play around with a couple of drivers since this were not written for win7.
Congratulation for user of Sony VAIO VGN-FZ11M model: PCG-381M laptop because now they can install windows 7 professional 32bit and use webcam. Sony official website doesn't provide the drivers for windows 7 but if you install VISA drivers, it will work fine except webcam (as might be you knew). But you don't worry and download webcam drivers from this link and install it:- http://www.4shared.com/file/suPq7WFc/SODCAM-12842500-US.html or http://www.megaupload.com/?d=T8EFFQYQ
Did you upgrade to win10? Then you might need to download the older win7 drivers and load them, remove the win10 trackpad driver first then reinstall the win7 ones..
You can find them here https://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=VGNFZ240E&upd_id=3049&os_group_id=10 Sony eSupport VGN FZ240E Drivers Software
Most likely missing a driver for SD/MC card reader The problem is that Sony doesnt offer drivers for 64-bit windows so the other 32-bit drivers will not be compatible. You have the options to install the windows versions supported by sony from esupport.sony.com (Vista or XP) Or try installing windows 7 32-bit and installing the missing drivers from esupport (Vista section) as usually they are compatible. If the driver is still missing you will need to update the driver from device manager (previously installed from esupport) and then select to browse or select a location, which will be %temp% or what is the same the temp folder for your account C\users\your_user_name\appdata\temp. This folder is usually hidden but it will work if you just type %temp%
What is the processor in your Vaio? If it's dual core 64bit will be OK. Have you downloaded the 64bit version of the driver? If not, it won't work and I'm not sure there is one on 64bit. Did your Vaio arrive with Win7 64bit? If not maybe it is not a suitable platform.
