Based on the information the only other thing I can think is to check for a bad connection from you power button to the mobo.Based on the information the only other thing I can think is to check for a bad connection from you power button to the mobo.

Does it start to boot Windows, or does it ask for the password before Windows starts to boot?
There may be a password set in the BIOS, to clear that, open the case and remove the CMOS battery. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD PCCMOSCLEANER FROM PCCMOS.COM AND BURN THE ISO IN A CD. NOW BOOT WITH IT. IT WILL CLEAR YOUR BIOS PASSWORD
To disable the bios password on your laptop, you will need to remove the
cmos battery on your laptop for some minutes and insert back, the cmos
battery is located on the motherboard of your laptop, once the cmos
battery is removed from the motherboard for some minutes, the bios
password will be reset, and the bios password will be disable.
Hi saeedbjaan.
You may reset the BIOS password by removing and re-inserting the CMOS Battery.
The CMOS Battery will store the Computer date, time, BIOS password etc.,
Hence, removing and re-inserting the CMOS Battery will reset the BIOS password.
However, please let me know if you need detailed information to remove the CMOS Battery.
Hope this helps.
Please feel free to contact for further information and assistance.
turn computer over you will see 3 removeable panels not sure wich panel its under so look care fully for a watch type battery make sure its not the type thats soldered in acer dont usually do this. remove battery very carfully use plastic tweezers then buy new battery, size and type on battery. any retail shop that sells battery. then replace. hope this helps.
Check on motherbord again you can find cmos cell it is look like round battery cell. Then pull it for 10 minutes so all bios settings are defaults. Also you can clear bios with jumper find jumper on motherbord it has 3 -pin 1-2-3 right now jumper is in 1-2 position set it to 2-3 position so your bios is clear. Then again set it to it's original position. then it not ask for password. Let me know if you need more assistance. Thanks.

members have reported that they were able to remove their Acer BIOS passwords by simply opening their notebooks and removing the CMOS batteries for 30 minutes.
Once your BIOS password is removed, you will need to press the <F2> key during POST (Power On Self Test) to enter the Acer BIOS setup.
if that don't work, acer support charges 100.00 to reset the password, What a rip-off.
Sorry to bother again
