Do you see light's on the keyboard? You can hit cap lock and it should light up the indicator. Make sure the keyboard is plugged in the PC. Verify the pc is up and running as well.Good Luck!

Safety key is installed? No response from key presses usually indicates a "halt"state for the upper control "brains" like when the safety key is pulled. You can also try jatinah electronics for further help.
Replace the LCB, board under the hood of machine. The UCB (Upper control board relays the key information to the LCB.
When the LCB traditionally goes out it cannot reconize the machine is not responding properly. The LCB is what usually sends out the error codes to the display screen.
I would suggest you check the batteries of the remote. If you have replaced them it is possible that the microswitch on the remote might have worn out. Should be a quickfix at a locksmith that has the equipment to test remotes frequency. Good luck
blank screen if the phone can make out going call or receive call maybe the problem come from lcd or the flex cable/ribbon inside the phone.it may come from upper board too.
if the phone blank screen and not responding any key pressed. it may come from the software.
note : broken upper board can make fault on software.cause the phone will detected as K700 on third party tool like setool, after replace the upper board it will detected back as w850.
You have stuck keys from when you removed to clean. Remove the stuck keys and see if it works OK when you press the rubber cap instead of key The back space one may have a link under it if it is a wide one ensure it is fitted correctly
My Blackberry 8310 curve key board is not working properly. When I press 5 nothing happens on the screen, when i press 4,7,and some of the letters dont work at all till i move them arround .
try aligning the screen... settings > screen > general > Align Screen
If that doesn't work try hard reset... i.e. press the two soft keys and the reset button using stylus...
If its still not working do soft reset: settings > system > Clear storage but remember to take back up of phone before doing this..as it will erase all your data...
