The security code in my phn nokia n72 wasnt working so i had to format my phn,after i formatted d security code is working but all the contents got deleted in d phn along with the pc suite installation,no worries i hve a back up but now when i connect my phn via usb it asks to accept the installation on d phn display,but it shows certificate may not be valid,is expired or phn's date setting may b incorrect n im unable to connect..plz help..d date setting is correct..

May n70 nokia is locked

*#7328748263373738# to reset security code to default.
Default security code is 12345

or

format your phone

follow this step

Turns off the phone
Press simultaneously on the green/talk, 3 and* keys and hold the 3 keys.
Turn on your phone
Wait for the onscreen Format message then can release the three keys
This method may also work for Nokia phones that won't turn on.
Note that before making a reset on Nokia's latest phone
using the *#7370# or the 3 finger method, better make a backup, as you will automatically delete important data:
The license for pre-loaded contents (music, video, maps,etc..) and pre-installed application (N-gage).

Type *#7370# followed by security code to format ur phone or in menu setting - restore factory setting followed by security code to format ur phone
Default security code is 12345 & if u have changed it u have to insert that to format

this is a simple one that so many people ask ,there is no risk to do just do as i say

if u want to format memory card first format it,then

to format phone,,,,,,,

first remove memory card,then switch off the phone for 2 min and then switch on by pressing n holding the keys ASTERIK(*),3,CALLKEY(GREEN KEY).THATS ALL PHONE COMES TO ORIGIN.

NOTE:THREE KEYS SHOULD BE PRESS N HOLD WHILE SITCHING ON.

first you have to change your date (for example change the year to 2007) while u connect the use & install pc suite support after that change the real date in your phone. it is due to certificate of nokia n72 has been expired.
