Unlikely, good diagnosis though. You don't have much option there: Try a keyboard attached to it to see if that same key on the external keyboard works. If yes it means you will neeed to replace your laptop keyboard. If it doesn't try to uninstall the keyboard driver and restart. keep your spare usb keyboard just in case, reinstall the driver from samsung support and download website if necessary.
Wet Cell Phone Immediately remove the phone from the water, turn off the cell phone, remove the battery and SIM card. To dry out the cell phone put it in a large plastic bag with silica gel drying crystals then put it in a warm sunny place for several days or in front of a warm fan heater for several hours. Reassemble the phone and hope it will work properly again, but if does not work then it is faulty and you need a new cell phone.
This is not a software related issue wherein we can have it resolved by doing system restore. This is a physical defect on the keyboard which means that it may need replacement. But before you bring it to a service center, try to blow dry your keyboard first. But be careful not to focus you blow dryer too much on the keyboard as they are made of plastic. It might melt then. Keep it in a distance. Do not use the computer, or even try to turn it on for at leave 48 hours. Check if it works, then that means you are able to dry it. If it does not, then it's due for a keyboard replacement.
Forget Code means Security code, you can get that from Service Provider and reset the mobile phone..........If you need Network Unlock code means you can get that at here http://www.prounlocking.com/nokia-n900/rs8wp9/ that is Operator Code...
its hardware problem, may be water or any liquid get inside and make the keyboard not work state, do you have any function key to disable keyboard or mouse mean go to control panel -> hardware setting check whether mouse was disable or not, if it disable mean make it enable so that your mouse works good same for keyboard.
Hello I am Afer Ibrahimov From Azerbaijan. I have bought a new Nokia N900 from USA but it is made in KOREA. I have some problems with my Cellphone. My N900 secondary camera and radio for Asia Countries (AZERBIAJN) does not work.
What Should I do?
This may be because there may some water log present inside it which is preventing from charging and making it to often switch off by shorting some lines when current is passed through it.
NEVER charge your mobile when it get wet.even though it works well after drying there may be some water log which may cause the circuits to short and even cause shock to the person using it.
please give to the service centre they wil remove the water logs in it and the phone wil properly after that.
you should go to internet connections and connect to the wifi of your router. otherwise you should enable the 3G capabilities of your mobile. Your provider must show you the settings so you can connect to the internet.
The Nokia N900 does not have MMS.
in order to use the video call you should have a google talk account and/or a skype account. the skype account video call works only with software version PR1.2 of maemo. in both cases you AND the other person you are calling should have google talk or skype with camera.
thank you :-)
Whoever can fix this deserves a medal. Even Nokia can't. My N900 has spent most of it's time in the Nokia Repair Centre since Christmas. Even a brand new replacement is not able to find a network. Most models are sim free up to now and cost around 500 quid. An expensive box full of ****. The only difference between the N900 and N95 is the touch screen, Maemo software and the side slide keyboard. Otherwise not in the same league.
