I put the CD in and it wont download the setup

This because you dont have AHCI drivers required for Win XP and you set in BIOS either sata controller or ide controller to an AHCI. You must set to native IDE or anything else like that.
If you wish set an AHCI driver you must press F6 during starting windows XP setup. And put the drivers (get it here) to floppy disk, it will prompted to install required drivers..
Another way to install driver without floppy disk you must inject the driver to windows XP installation CD...

P.S : you cant put the drivers onto floppy, because it wont be read by Windows XP setup..

put cd in then push f2 then when asked run the cd d:drive.

and download setup cd you will need it to setup the router properly

did you change the order in the bios setinbg?put the 1st device for boot to be the CD/DVD-rom not HARD drive, to get into bios try F2., ESC, ,F12 . and in the bios setup change the order put 1st boot device to be CD/DVD-rom, then try again to setup Windows.

Go into the BIOS setup screen and make sure that the CD loads first. IF that doesn not work to read the disk then :
Download :SeaTools" and burn to a CD. Check the Hard disk drive with the CD.

Umm, maybe you didn't plug it in right. Try putting in the CD rom of your router, then download it, and it will probably have setup/ help on there.

check your operating system to see if regular vista or vista x64. disk could be bad. if so go to...

do you have driver cd with if yes then just put it in cd rom and run the setup and follow the instruction,
if you are not having driver cd then go to the manufacture website and download the driver and run the setup

I get the same problem, and i go to the microsoft website to download the software needed and it wont even let me do that.... Whats the go..

First, try going to MY COMPUTER(start menu)
then double click your CD DRIVE(or DVD drive if this applys to you)
if it starts an installer, then your set!
if it shows contents, open a file like SETUP or INSTALL
if it gives you an error, take out the disk, and go to this site:

Download the software, and install it(This is the same as the CD, only probably updated)
