Nokia 5220 Just switches off and after that lost all settings.... Doesn't accept sim card, keeps rejecting it....

Hi.Insert another sim card to your phone and try.if this doesn't solve , clean the sim card slot connector.Otherwise you need to contact a mobile technician.And if another sim card is working in your phone and your sim card shows Rejected to every phone,then the last solution is to change another sim card from the particular sim card provider.Good luck

I think you have activated this sim only lock. This should be found under security menu. Try unlocking i first. If none works, you may consider flashing the phone if you need the phone working.

No, it means that the contacts for the sim is somehow damaged - maybe 1 of 6 is pushed in too much or broken.
Take a look - otherwise a repair will cost $35-50

SIM card rejected means the SIM card has failed, it needs to be replaced.
