Try the following steps to resolve the problem:

Turn off your Xbox 360 console.

Reattach the Hard Drive.

Turn on your Xbox 360 console.Ifyou continue to experience this problem, obtain the latest automaticupdate for your Xbox 360 console. To do this, follow these steps:

Turn off your Xbox 360 console.
2.
Detach the Hard Drive.
3.
Connect the console to the Internet through an Ethernet cable.

Toobtain an automatic update without your Xbox 360 Hard Drive attached,you must have an Xbox 360 Memory Unit or an Xbox 360 that has built-inmemory.

If you cannot connect to Xbox LIVE, running a recent game (2007 or newer) causes an automatic update to be installed.
