if you mean that you cant get any sound on your computer control panel sounds and audio,volume you can adjust the volume or advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the right speakers or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll to sound,video and game cotrollers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers hope this helps
It sounds like you Windows OS is corrupted. You may need to reload. On the sound problem, don't bother with control panel. Try this instead. Click Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Volume control and make sure there are no controls at 0, especially the Wave control.
I had to install WindowsXP from scratch, due to a
virus infection. After complete installation of the WindowsXP, I
installed all the drivers from the disc that was included with the
motherboard. Yet for some reason, when I open windows media player,
there is no sound device. What seems to be the problem?
