A couple of days ago my cell phone just got this problem that most of my display disappered, when I try to go to messages,none of the words are displayed just #'s can this repaired by reseting the phone and reinstalling the software if so how can this be done. Thanks

phone batteries have a limited user time before they are flat try charging it for a couple of hours then if the screen is still black take it to a repair shop.

I don't know whether your phone is not working properly due to whatever reason. You first talked an incident happened 3 years ago and now all of sudden talking about the present day.

First ; If your device's display is unable to read, you'll need to replace the display itself.

Second ; If your keypad's certain areas does not work, may be a cleaning will fix the problem. By "WORK", I assume you meant that they aren't responding to press.

Third ; If your phone freezes and not responding, may be you can try re-flashing the phone

Most important : None of these are "Noob" tasks and you need to be skilled. If you are not, hand it over to a repair shop. Some of these may erase all your data to a point where you cannot take them back. Hope you understand

you need to update your internet settings to tmobile as they r still for the previous network the fone was on... contact your service provider.

I have an LG GD510 , with unlimited texting included in the plan.
The texting feature has always worked for me, until a couple of days ago when my messages were not going through, nor could I receive any text messages.
When I try to send a text message, it says "waiting" for a bit, and then goes to "sending" for about two seconds, after which it just goes back to "waiting." After several minutes, it then displays "message cannot be delivered."
I thought maybe my services were disconnected, but they are not. I can make and receive incoming/outgoing calls. I also called the company, and they told me my services have not been suspended. When I asked about my problem, they told me their systems were down, and to try back in the morning, but I still cannot text, and it has been on-going for a couple days now.
Do I have to hard reset my phone? And if so, how do I do that?
I was told it was under "touch settings", but when I go there, there is nothing about resetting your phone.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated!

you should never put your phone in water. If you put it in water then it will not work any more

It seems that the memory card has gone bad. Try to use an card reader nad connect it to the computer and see, format the card if required.
