Ihave just bought a new tomtom one 3rd edition and i got a latest map guarantee i tapped in the web page like it said www.tomtom.com/latestmap and to tap in the code provided but there appears to be no web page that accepts this.

On some devices you have a guarantee for the latest maps (since its first use). On some other devices with model names ending in T, M, or TM you have free traffic (T) for life, Maps (M) , or free Traffic and maps (MT) for the useful life of the device. Outside of theses cases there are no free map downloads.
Visit the TomTom site to use and free map update that your device qualifies for.

1) You need to download and install TomTom Home on your PC/Laptop: see attached official TomTom link:

2) You will then need to connect your GPS unit via the provided USB cable to your PC/Laptop withTomTom Home running and connected to the internet.

3) Your current MAP can then be updated via the 'Update' selection. Any other 'system' files will also be updated automatically using this function.

4) Using TomTom Home, you can also download free add-ons such as 'Voices' and 'Colors schemes'.

If you just bought the unit within 3 months, you can update to the latest Map free of charge using 'Latest Map Guarantee' function in TomTom Home otherwise, there are NO FREE ADDITIONAL FREE MAPS.

Yeah it sucks I also update it couple of times when I got it and nothing change a lot of streets where wrong and my house is not even on tomtom maps.

To be honest you'd be better off upgrading. The ONE 130S is essentially the "4th Edition" of the ONE with a new mount AND text to speech. You'll get more bang for your buck with the new device and you'll have the most up to date maps with their latest map guarantee (if there are newer maps or a new set of maps come out within 30 days, you can upgrade for free)
