Is there a special charging gadget to charge my onix mp3 player purchased from Aldi on 27jan2011- it did not come with the purchase of the player, only a usb cord that plugs into the player????

Same as u, i bought one recently from Aldi... luckily i have proper usb cable can use borrow from other devices (i.e. card reader and external hard disk drive). i guess this cable tech. name is "USB A Male to USB Mini 5 B Male Cable". You can buy one from BigW, Kmart, Office Work etc. Of couse the cost will be cheaper if buy one from any local discount variety stores such as Reject, Go Lo, Hot Dollar etc. Oh, one more thing, there is no special charging gadget to charge the player. Just connect it to your PC with proper usb cable. It will charge by itself ~little
