If you want a quick repair, you can solder the power adapter wires dirrectly to the circuit board (assuming the board is not cracked) in about 15 minuts performed by a good technician... if you want it with the original connector it could take a week to order the connector than an hour to unsolder the broken connector and replace it with the new one (again assuming the board is not cracked and the adapter plug is OK as well)...

I have an F029 error code on my Kenmore Elite double wall oven, what does it mean?

Communication between the user interface board and the touch panel can't be initiated Disconnect power to the unit, wait 30 seconds and restore power. If the error returns, disconnect electrical power and check the wire harness connections between the user interface control board and the touch. Reconnect any loose wires or replace the wire harness if damaged. If you just replaced the user interface control board or the touch panel, you may have used the wrong part. Use your range model number to check the part number and install the correct replacement part. If you didn't replace a part before the code appeared and the wire harness connections are okay, replace the touch panel. If the problem continues, replace the user interface control board.

I have a 3Com Router, Model 3030. What are the router commands used in that Router. I cannot use the following Commands: 1. sho version 2. sho interface 3. sho dsl int atm 0 4. sho ip route Are the...

The commands are different than a Cisco device. Rather than try to list all the commands in this solution I'm providing you a link to the products support page on the HP website (HP bought 3Com a while back). The support site has the manuals, command reference guides, etc for your device. It should be everything you need to get started. Best of luck!

My AUX dosen't work right every time i connect it to the ipod

The F70 and F71 error codes on this model of washer indicates a communication problem between the user interface control board and the central control unit (main control board). These error codes can sometimes be caused by a power surge or glitch through the electrical lines. Try unplugging the washer to completely disconnect electrical power. Wait 1 minute and then plug the washer back in to the see if the fault code clears. If it does, then the washer may work normally.

If the code reappears, then you could have a wire harness connection problem, a failed user interface control board or a failed central control unit. I recommend calling a service technician to properly diagnose and repair this type of problem so that the correct component can be replaced.

Be sure your unit is plugged into a 3 prong grounded outlet as well.

F71 is a "heatbeat failure" which means that your front interface control board is shorted and will need to be replaced. it's actually fairly easy to replace and can definitely be done by yourself. To access the part, just pull the unit forward and remove the 3 screws coming in from the back of the top panel. Remove the top panel by pulling it back, up, and off. Then remove all the screws going into the top of the control panel. Remove the dispenser drawer and remove the screws coming in through the dispenser. Remove the screws coming from the inside of the dryer going forward into the control panel, then remove the control panel (it's just clipped in on the bottom. After that you can disconnect the wire harnesses to the front interface control board and replace that part.

Hi, I have recently set up a network with a 3com 3CRWER200-75. The problem shows when i visit websites like for example www.amazon.com or any microsoft site. The router is new. My broadband connection is...

Hi,
This could have a number of causes. However, you could try adjusting your MTU settings, since this can cause problems with accessing msn and similar sites. You can do this from within the router user interface.
You may well have tried this already. If not, experiment gradually with reducing the MTU setting towards 1400 - see this link for a quick tutorial (though not your router model, I know).

For safety, of course, please back up the registry, or set a system restore point, before trying this out.
Other 'fixes' depend on your OS and security settings. However, since the problem does seem to be within your new router, you might find more information on the 3com knowledgebase.

Power and lcd

If you are comfortable with opening up your system you could order the LCD from the manu. and install the new one. As far as the power goes. you may have knocked a connector loose (easy fix) or you either cracked the circuit board or broke a solder connection. You can do a visual once you have the unit open to see which it is. Again, if you are comfortable with a solder iron then reflow the broken solder connection or take a small piece of wire and repair the broken circuit board connection. (using the wire and solder to create a new "bridge") If you are not comfortable with this and it is not a loose connection you will probably need to take it to a reputable repair shop. The manu should have a list of authorized repair shops.

How can i turn 3com wireless router off?? no power button...!!!! in the manual they say there is a power button in the rear panel. but i see only an OK LED...

You have two options to make. 1. Just remove the plug connections of the power supply converter from the AC Outlet. This turns off the Router. 2. Unplug the power connector attached to the router. However the power supply converter is still power on.

My 3com officeconnect doesn't work after upgrding the firmware

Are you able to login to the router? If you can reset the router to factory defaults..If you can't login to the router...Is there an external reset button on the router you could try to reset. with a paperclip? Otherwise, I had this happen on a linksys router/switch. New router time. You should just return it where you purchased the product. There was already something seemingly going wrong if it was rebooting. 3 weeks? just return it. don't even mention the firmware update. Here is the site info for 3com: http://knowledgebase.3com.com/ OfficeConnect - Firmware upgrade fails with incorrect user interface image Problem: Incorrect user interface image Problem: Firmware upgrade fails Problem: Error when upgrading firmware Problem: Incorrect firmware Problem: Wrong firmware Fact: Firmware Fact: Download Fact: Update Fact: Upgrade Cause: The downloaded .exe has not been extracted Fix: The downloaded .exe needs to be extracted by double clicking on it. When performing the firmware update use the extracted files that were obtained from the "exe" file. e.g You will obtain a "bin" or "dlf" type of file which is the firmware required for your upgrade. Let me know what happens. Good Luck, Tim
