Hi there,

Well there are many reason for that problem you may check out one by one -
1. TENSION - check out the upper tension.
2. BOBBIN.
3. NEEDLE -many times a seamstress will get in a hurry and not give the needle a second thought when putting a new one in the machine. If your machine will not pick up the bottom thread or skips stitches badly, in most cases it's because the needle is in wrong.
4. NEEDLE PLATE.
Post comments for further help or information.....

Good Luck!!

Tread breakage snd stich skipping

(A)Put in a new needle and rethread from the beginning. Make sure the take-up hook is threaded. Also, (B) clean lint out - sewing machines have very small margin for error when lint pushes everything out of alignment. Mostly, it sounds like your thread is stuck somewhere, which can even be at the spool, so (A).

If the problem started after you changed the needle size, may be,
otherwise, check your needle/looper timing, and distance between needle and looper.
