What is the problem if the code E2 F1 appears on the control panel

F1 - E0 EEPROM communication error 1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute.
3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

Check the jumpers in the harness to make sure they agree with the actual oven size.

Error code F1-E2 means that an error with the keypad has occurred. Usually it happens due to loose ribbon cable on the keypad or the electronic control assembly itself going bad. To resolve this issue first, disconnect the power to unit and then gain access to the back of the clock assembly (Electronic Range Control/ERC). Now unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC, it would be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide and make sure that the cable is not broken and nothing is shorted on the keypad. After this is done insert the cable back and then plug the unit back to check. If the error is still there then the electronic control board should be replaced. E2 F1 is a fault code for electronic sub system failure you are going to have to change the main clock control assembly; enter your part or model number for best results: repairclinic.com/Oven-Control-Board
1. Disconnect power longer than 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for longer than 1 minute.
3. If failure remains, disconnect power, replace control.

Make sure your control board is the correct one.

Hello,Please use the chart to determine which stove you have. You will have to look at the model number. The first 3 numbers will be the series on the chart. In most cases an F1 error would require replacement of the electronic control. This part is commonly refered to as an EOC or ERC. However this type of repair is usually reserved for repair specialists.
