That should come with a drawing to cut out, sometimes the box itself will have that on, and one places it on the wall to mark screw holes for fixing. It will run, as it is only a fan and a light buld, from the cooker switched outlet on the cooker point, or a fused outlet from a spur. If you are unsure, get a qualified electrician to wire it in for you!

What size cable feeds you cooker at present? Or Is the maximum power calculated for the old cooker the same or more than the new cooker. If it is and the old cooker was installed by a qualified electrician observing local electricity codes, no problem get it fitted, if not consult a qualified electrician.
Probably the main wire is faulty or the fuse has blown out.open the cooker from below
{find, check the fuse with a continuity tester}do check the main wire with the help of a continuity tester too for any kind of breakage. If there is no continuity or the tester bulb does not light up there is a fault with the component.Replace the wire/Fuse with the same rating or quality and your cooker will surely work
