No ringing tone while getting call from somebody also when I goto setting to change ring tone I can not play any of tones and I ca not close the window as well and I have to restart manually .

go into settings, ring tones , and change it there , can only change to those listed,

You could concievably send them a mutimedia message when they call, but there is no way to automate this, and it would probably be too much trouble and expense to bother. Wait a year or two, and it may well be that manufacturers start including this feature - it would require a slight modification of the communications protocols on the cell networks, but it probably would be popular. GOTO SETTINGS . OR IF YOU MAY ALSO FIND PERSONALIZE . CLICK IT. GOTO TONE OR RING TYPE OPTION. HERE YOU CAN CHANGE THE TONE . IF YOU ARE SATISFIED PLEASE RATE THE ANSWER BELOW.

1)Connect your phone to your computer.
2)Mount your SD Card.
3)If you have PC Companion, goto file manager... if not goto My Computer and open your SD card.
4)Create the following folders "SD Root folder":\media\audio\notifications
4a)ADD YOUR RING TONE TO 'NOTIFICATIONS'
5)Unmount SD Card
6)Open Messenger
7)Open Settings
8)Open 'Select ring tone' (You better have notifications already selected...if not...this little list is too much for you to handle.)
9)Select Ring tone, it is labeled however the file was named.

Go to the same place that you go to to put it on vibrate and scroll down to set ring tones/alerts and sms text and change the settings the volume should be set to silent.

check out this thread. near the bottom is an explanation to reset your phone back to default settings. you will lose all programs d/l so I suggest you sync your phone with your comp to save all your contacts first.

check your mobile is in silent mode!
After that goto tone setting->ringing mode->you keep it is ringing->select alter for all calls->and than check volume!

Otherwise goto profile personalise setting tone setting->ringing mode->you keep it is ringing->select alter for all calls->and than check volume

1. to set mp3 ring tones...

copy any mp3 file to phone ( via cable or bluetooth )
go to multimedia = go to mp3 = now play the song you want as tone,
when song is playing, select options, and select = set as ring tone

DONE and smile......

2. to set Default sound ring tones...

go to menu = my stuff = sounds =
browse the sound files when you like one , select options, and set as ring tone.....

Done and smile again... hope this helped...
