I reinstalled windows 7 in my toshiba l30-114 laptop .Now i'm getting a message that no output audio device is installed.what should i do?

Hi there,
Go to the support section of Toshiba's website. You should see a page for drivers and downloads. You'll need to enter the make and model of your Toshiba laptop, then download the latest sound card drivers. Once you've installed the drivers correctly, restart your computer and you should be good to go.

Mic not workig making a noise but the mic is built in

Uninstall and reinstall the audio driver.

For windows vista
a. Go to start
b. Type "device manager" on the start search box (windows vista).
Type "device manager" on the search for programs and files box (windows 7)
c. Expand "sound and video game controller". Usually audio driver is "realtek high definition".
d. Right click on to that audio driver and select uninstall. Do not check the box for delete. Just click ok.
e. Restart the laptop.
f. Once restarted, wait for the message that the "device software is being installed". Or go back to device manager if the audio driver is back. It should come back.
g.Test the mic.

No audio output device installed and the screen goes off when connected to a projector

For no Audio output device installed message, go to device manager uninstall the audio driver. Reinstall the audio driver from either Windows update or from the manufacturer's(your Computer or Laptop) Web site.

No audio device installed for the output speakers i have a toshiba saterlite laptop model no a215-s4757 my headphones work when pluged in thanks,i think its the sound card

For vista use the following driver and install it

Thanks for using FixYa. The drivers are not installed for your Toshiba notebook. You'll need to download & install the audio drivers. You can either download and install it from the drivers & utilities disk that you have got with your notebook. Or can download from this link by selecting the model number of your notebook--

I keep getting the message 'no audio output device'

1. Right click on Mycomputer, select properties
2. Select hardware
3. Select Device manager
4. double click on the sound,volume and controller
5. if any yellow color pointed is displayed on any option then right click on the option and uninstall it
6. then select Action from the menu bar on the top and select scan for hardware changes

**** after doing this.. you can check the follwoing steps for trouble free ******

7. double click system device
8. if any yellow color pointed is displayed on any option then right click on the option and uninstall it
9. then select Action from the menu bar on the top and select scan for hardware changes
10. then it will start scanning your new hardware and ask for the installation drivers.
