More than likely it's the magnetron and/or diode, chances are it may
still be under warranty. Online owners manual states 5 year warranty on
magnetron. Part only, service call and installation not included. Diode
not covered. They require serial number, and will let you know if it's
still under warranty. Installation appears to be simple, UNPLUG
MICROWAVE THEN MAKE SURE YOU DISCHARGE CAPACITOR. INJURY OR POSSIBLE
DEATH IF NOT DISCHARGED PROPERLY. Google how to install magnetron and
discharge capacitor. It will save you approx $ 250 - 300 doing it
yourself. Hope this helps. Be Safe
In situtions such as these it can be considered that the Magnatron has passed on. Co0t of repair often exceeds the value of replacement. No fuse controls the magnatron separately from the rest of the unit so
deem it dead
With the availability of good second hand models on the market via pawn shops like Cash Converters etc one can find a very good unit with 30 day warranty for $50-100 and its already been checked over for defects
Could be a problem with the magnetron. I recommend calling a service man to take a look, or purchase a new machine (whichever works out cheaper for you).
We see this a lot. The problem is on the control panel, which we regularly repair nationwide for $39.95 postpaid.
This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller.
This can often also affect the exhaust fan operation, too. The lights and fan can be inoperable or stuck on too.

Are you talking about the light and fan inside the microwave or the vent fan (in the grille) and the cooktop / stove top lights?
Either can be economically repaired.
Please clarify and I will give you more detailed information.
