Take a look around your brake booster, and check if a vacuum hose snapped off. If all vacuum hoses and wires appear to be in place, check the charge on the system, and take it from there.

Were those power come from that go to abs pump connecter i can't fine fuse or relay that send power 1990 cadillac fleetwood

If you follow that wire around you'll find the relay and fuse under the pump motor if I remember correctly however the hard pedal is almost always caused by a failed vacuum booster or the vacuum line between the engine intake and the booster, you don't have to disconnect the master cylinder brake lines to change the booster.

What to do with a brake booster out and the ABS light came on? 1998 Isuzu Trooper

Hi Rebecca,
Since the AntiLock Braking System utilizes the power (vacuum) boost to operate normally, the ABS indicator should come on if the booster fails. Yes, this means your ABS system is not able to function correctly, but neither are your standard brakes (as the extra pedal effort required to stop will tell you). however, your brakes DO WORK, so driving it to get the codes scanned shouldn't be too dangerous - just be ready to stand on the brake pedal with both feet and leave yourself plenty of room to stop by driving slowly and looking well ahead for stopped traffic. Once your booster is fixed, the ABS light should go off without any special reset or clearing of ECM memory. Good luck and happy motoring!

2002 chevy silverado 2500 hd with duramax no brake or steering power. do I need to replace or repair hydro booster?

It definitely sounds like the hydro booster. There are videos on YouTube that shows you how to do either. Depending on your skill level will determine which one you do. The main issue is bleeding the air out of the booster. It can be difficult. You will also need to bleed your brakes completely afterward. GMs are notorious for having the hydro boosters die on them.

Brake Booster problems

You may have a bad booster, but when your brake pedal goes all the way down, you have no fluid, a bad master or really bad calipers

My 1992 chev lumina apv van stalls everytime i put on the brakes at every red light it restarts after no codes are coming up what could it be?:

check to make sure the power brake booster is not leaking, do this by starting the van and just let it idle in park and push the brake pedal if the engine stalls or surges or you hear a sucking noise under the dash then replace the power brake booster if there is none of these systems then replace the idle control motor. GOOD LUCK

No brakes I think the booster was going out because my peddle got soft but would still stop me then i changed my brake pads shortly after the brakes completly went out and can now only stop with the...

The problem is not the booster, the job of the booster is to make braking easier. If the booster went out the brakes would be hard to press.
Your soft pedal is likely due to air in the brake lines. Bleed the brakes and go from there.

The compresor wont start and it's getting very hot!

Check the capacitor. It is in the outaside unit. Siver with three terminals on top. If it is swollen it is bad. Check for burnt wires. You can repair these yourself. Compressor maybe stuck. If it is an old unit you will have to replace it. Rusty
