DSM800 (DeLonghi branded Kenwood mixer) - I need to know which attachments will fit. Will attachments for the Kenwood KM800 fit? On the label that shows my model number, it also shows a "reference number" of KW800. Any ideas? I am specifically looking for the food processor and grain mill attachment. THANKS!

I do not find KW*** product numbers. Do you mean KM800? That looks like my machine. It appears that the grain mill uses a vertical front take off, not the horizontal one lik my machine has - blast!

But, I do not find the KM800 listed on Kenwoods web site, tho I can google it and find it. Amazon shows 1 accessory for it that says it fits DSM5XX, DSM7XX and KM800. Seems like the KM800 may be a US only machine?

So, if I find accesories listed for the DSMXXX machines, they should fit?? is there a standard name for the rear take off port that I could use to be sure an accessory will fit?

    THANKS for the help -

    A

My detachable draft shaft burned by my stove where can i buy a other one

I think your talking about the beater shaft. I can not relate to the draft shaft and I have been around a long time. This site has loads of KM800 parts in the UK. FYI Delonghi bought out Kenwood and getting parts in the US is through Delonghi. Their phone service takes forever!!!!

Try browsing this site:

I have Kenwood Major Classic (Grey colour) will a mincer A720

Hi. I've checked the Kenwood Service website and from what it looks like, A720 mincer is only suitable for A701, A701A, A702, and for Major models A707, A707A, A717.

The mincer specified for the KM800 (from it's owners manual) is the
A950.

My DeLonghi DSM800 when running sometimes stop for a second and then starts up again. It also seems to speed up at times and almost sounds like it is skipping a gear or something. Any ideas.

I had the same problem and fixed it.
  1. I took it apart, unplug unit, remove the small black cover inside the stand portion, 1 screw. Underneath you will find four screws with a white plastic wire junction.
  2. Loosen two screws and remove the black and brown wires which connect to the control panel with the dial attached.
  3. Remove rear attachment cover, front top cover, and front delonghi cover.
  4. Remove top three screws where the blender attachment goes. Now remove the aluminum cover that covers the entire top.
  5. Slip belt off. Remove three screws with plastic washers that attach motor to chassis.
  6. Remove 2 torx screws that are located next to metal bar that keeps top half from swinging too far from bottom half.
  7. Now you can pull the motor out and the control panel with the dial. Remove the three slip on electrical connections on the control panel and reinstall. Carefully remove the two slip on electrical connections on the motor and reinstall.
  8. Re-assemble and test unit.
I thought I had a problem with the control panel or the motor, as it turns out the connections were the problem. Carefully removing them and reinstalling them solved the problem.
