Bosch dishwasher soap dispenser wont open or drain.

If your Bosch dishwasher's soap dispenser is not opening or draining properly, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take:
  1. Clean the Dispenser Area: Start by inspecting the soap dispenser area for any debris, soap residue, or obstructions. Clean the dispenser thoroughly using a damp cloth and remove any buildup that may be preventing it from opening or closing properly.
  2. Check for Mechanical Issues: Examine the dispenser latch and mechanism for any signs of damage or wear. Ensure that the latch is engaging properly and that there are no loose or broken parts. If any components are damaged, they may need to be replaced.
  3. Test the Dispenser Solenoid: The soap dispenser may be controlled by a solenoid that releases it at the appropriate time during the wash cycle. Check if the solenoid is functioning correctly by performing a continuity test using a multimeter. If the solenoid is defective, it may need to be replaced.
  4. Verify Proper Detergent Usage: Ensure that you are using the correct type and amount of dishwasher detergent recommended for your Bosch dishwasher. Using the wrong detergent or excessive amounts can cause issues with dispenser operation. Consult your dishwasher's user manual for specific detergent recommendations.
  5. Check the Drainage System: A clogged drainage system can prevent the soap dispenser from draining properly. Inspect the drain hose, drain pump, and any filters for blockages. Clear any debris or obstructions you find, and ensure that the drain hose is not kinked or bent.
  6. Reset the Dishwasher: Try resetting your Bosch dishwasher by turning it off at the power source or unplugging it for a few minutes. This can sometimes resolve temporary issues and restore proper operation.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to consult the Bosch dishwasher's user manual for model-specific troubleshooting steps or contact Bosch customer support for further assistance. They can provide you with specific guidance tailored to your dishwasher model and help you diagnose and resolve the problem.

Bosch microwave model HMV9305/01. Heats fine, but even after cycle ends, it hums continuously. Is this the magnetron? If so, does this indicate a faulty door switch?

open the door after turnoff and see if hum disappears. If so it may be the magnetron is still on. If stops the hum could be from some other component ala the turntable motor, fan, etc.

My Whirlpool WMH31017AS when I plug it in the light comes on and the carousel slowly turns. Buttons don't respond either. It's 14 months old with a 1 year warranty.

I have three customers describe the exact scenario on this MW but was never able to duplicate while on site all three were in warranty I changed the door switches and control board at 14 months they may pay for a service call to have it diagnosed

Over the Range Lights & Fan Failed. GE Microwave Oven JVM172G

It's not a fuse issue.

This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller.

The lights can can be inoperable or stuck on or stuck in "night light" mode. Sometimes this will similarly affect the fan operation or inside light, too.

We see and repair this a lot. The problem is on the control circuit board.

You can have it repaired or replace the smart board yourself.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

Then you remove the defective board and install the new one in your frame. Be careful, since the display is made of glass.

I Have a sharp microwave model # R1874. On the control panel, when I press the start button, the microwave runs for 59 seconds then stops. I have to press the start button again to have it run again. It...

That would be a problem in the damper assembly, either a bad switch or motor, or the damper door is jammed or blocked. Consult the attached diagram for general reference. The damper switch is the same as the primary interlock (door) switch.

zjlimited_813.jpg

Its location varies by model, but you'll have to take the outer cover off to find it.

The best place to order Sharp parts is Tritronics or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

If you only need a switch, you can order a universal type HERE

Also, I quote other similar solution...
I had the same problem. Turned out to be the micro switch and damper motor. I replaced both myself and fixed the problem for less than $40.00. The best advice I got was replace the switch, reconnect the motor and make sure the motor runs through a damper door cycle. It didn't run, even though it showed continuity and had power, so I replaced the motor which solved the problem. The micro switch which is activated by the cam on the damper motor has to be cycled within one minute, or the unit shuts itself off. The damper motor on my model R-1870 is found in the right rear section of the assembly when facing it. You have to remove the unit, and remove the outer casing to get to it. The damper is a simple sheet metal door, activated by the motor, and the switch mounts at the top of the motor and is activated by the same cam that activates the door.

Good luck.

Microwave oven starts by itself

sounds like you have a stuck key. if you take the control panel off and un plug the ribon cable and blug it back in if the problem continues it is the control board.
