I am using softbank 821sc in japan. and now i am in nepal i cant use my cell phone because when i insert the nepal sim it says, (the USIM inserted cannot be used for this terminal. please replace it with correct one.)

Insert any other sim in ur mobile if that is working fine then u need to swap the sim

If your phone is locked to your original sim card, you will not be able to use any other. contact your provider and see if it is in fact locked. Many phone providers lock their phones.

Before you do anything with it, please clean the sim card and sim card connector on the handset. Even a small rust/dust can create this problem.

If it doesn't help, you need to check the Sim card on another Handset. In most cases, this is damaged sim connector, and will be necessary to replace or re-soldered/refreshed. Sometimes even sim IC is the culprit which you need to replace or play jumper tricks. I would suggest you to get it done from a service center or from a nokia mobile repairing center.
