if you are talking about facebook ? it takes up to 10 days to close the profile. if its been more than 10 days you need to sign back into that account and turn off notifications. if you can still sign in to that account then check again that you have close it properly. any other wedsites have options to turn off notifications

No, it's not in the drop-down lists, hover your mouse to the profile and click it, there you'll see "Password" in the "Account Information" Section, click it and do the necessary changes.

that easy to fix go to your control panel click on users click on your user profile and u can change password in there if for some reason it wont let you create new profile and set that as admin.and delete other profile and click on save all files and it will fix this problem
