I forgot my pattern password and it took me to my google account and when i typed my email and password it didnt do any thing

If it's an android device...
1. Enter wrong pattern 5 times and wait for 30 seconds.
2. Select "Forgot pattern" and enter your email account username and password.
3. Make sure you use the same account that was used to activate the device and double check the password by logging in to that email account in a browser.
4. If you don't have access to the original email account, you will need to do a hard reset and loose your settings and apps on the devcice. The data on the memory card will not be wiped though.
Note: if you can't remember your email password, you will have to visit the email service support page to get it reset.

its brand new and you forgot everything already if you did the google mail password assist then open that if dont know that or didnt do it can try provider for assistance and most lockouts are either 1hr or 24hr

If you forgot your pattern you have to know your email and password to your email in order to gain access

Go to the link below and click 'I don't know my password' then enter your email and log into your email to recive a new password. When you get back on your account change your password to something you will remember. After witch your problem will fix itself since you will know your password that you just changed.

I found the following on another website. I don't know if it's true.
One thing unique about Android phones is their pattern unlocking system. However, after a number of unsuccessful tries, it will lock you out permanently. This happened to my brother, and it wouldn't accept his gmail username and password (the only other login method). He was looking at a reset and loss of all his data not stored in his Google account. Luckily, he found a work around. If you enter your gmail account name, and use "null" as the password, it will enable the pattern unlock again. This may give you a chance to try different patterns until you find the one you set.

To unlock the pattern screen lock, sign in with your Google account.
1. After 30 seconds, tap Forgot pattern?
2. The user need to log in with the primary gmail.com e-mail address and not the alternative email address connected to the Google account.
3. Tap the username field and enter the primary Google account user name.
4. Tap the password field and enter the primary Google account password.
5. Draw a new unlock pattern and tap Continue .
6. Draw the new unlock pattern again and tap Continue .
