How do i restore my ibm thinkpad t30 to factory settings?

As you are aware the HDD interface on the T30 is IDE. I replaced my 20GB with a 320GB IDE with no problems. Many sites offer replacement HDDs with the added bonus of supplying Factory Restore CDs. If you could find a SSD in IDE configuration, it's a simple job to fit the drive and reinstall the OS. Make sure you have the latest BIOS. Good Luck.

I have IBM T30 laptop and my Laptop having problem of display its shows when open any files its open like viberation

You must get the same exact board for your laptop, there are no other replacement boards.
You have to get one that says it is for the IBM Thinkpad T30-2366-81U.

ya i know dis site but it is of lenovi t30 drivers and the problem is that i am not geting the IBM Thinkpad Drivers..Would any buddy give me the site of downloading drivers of IBM Thinkpad T30???

Make sure NumLock is OFF.

your mouse freezes; you should only use system restore as a last resort
any virus/spyware you had in the past will come back
turn the computer off(you may have to shut power off pressing on power button)
when you see ibm logo, tap F8 key repeatedly until your hear beeps or a high pitched noise
use option safe mode; use 'most recent config where my settings worked' option in safe mode(use up and down arrow keys to highlght, then press enter)
If that does not work, try another(earlier) restore pt w system restore or install mouse drivers on a cd on another laptop, then
place in cd rom and try to install it on the problem laptop
if this is no good, you should really reinstall windows, back up impt docs, etc.(delete old partition)
that model has a built in restore function by pressing F11 on startup, it will restore your piece to factory condition(along w spyware that comes along w the builtin ibm utility)
I had the same exact laptop, the fan got noisy, so I replaced it w another that was from a good t30, guess what:
"fan error"
Ibm laptops are too problematic to work on
thats why I use dell
