You can disconnect the white plastic condensate pipe from boiler and just let the condensate water from the boiler it drip into a bucket when the boiler is on untill the pipe defrosts then just reconnect it and make sure the condensate pipe is lagged outside

Main Eco Elite Combi 30 boiler. It is flashing green tap light with no water running?

Try a power reset. Fully disconnect power to it for 15 minutes. Then try again.

It does appear to be a known fault. If that doesn't fix it, you will need a gas certified heating technician.

Hi my baxi 105he dhw has stopped heating the water flow rate is ok,when i try ch the temp led,s rapidly rise up to 80 degrees then the boiler shuts down

Indicates low water flow. possibly bad electrical connection to flow detector in dhw pipe or seized dector in pipe or blocked up heat exchanger. certainly a blockage somewhere in the pipes

Baxi he 24 solo. Local Gas safe Engineer has replaced pcb, condensate trap, overheat and other thermostat, also igniter/sparker and flame failure sensor, Boiler still intermittently locking out (red...

Sounds like its an intermittent flame failure on trial for ignition. Look for the pilot flame drifting away from the sensor when the main valve opens.

Baxi boiler

Make sure the gas inlet & outlet pressures are correct (manometer) & that the primary air mixture is adjusted correctly. Check to make sure you have 1 square inch of outside air for combustion per 2000 BTU's rating on the boiler.

I want to use my baxi bermuda gas fire just as a fire as having a combi boiler installed is it possible

yes a combi boiler has to be piped so they would cut off the pipes to your baxi and you can ues it as a gas fire only

Baxi duo-tec boiler - when water comes on flame roars up. When i put the heating on the flames roar for 5 minutes then die down.

is the boiler a combi if so have you checked the pressure. it needs to be at 1.5 bar 2 bar at the most . also check that the heat the boiler is producing is completeing the circuit on the heating if you have access to the pipe work there should be 2 or 3 22mm copper pipes. now turn the heating on and check which one is getting warm. the one that is is your flow and in about 2 to 3 min there should be one more pipe getting hot let me no if this is the case

MY IDEAL LOGIC 30 HAS FAULT CODE L2 ALMOST EVERY DAY SINCE INSTALATION DEC 2010

is boiler still under warranty?
normal warranty lasts at least 2 years
if so get ideal to send one of their engineers out
L2 relates to flame failure
either boiler has failed to ignite
or
boiler has not detected flame once lit

several causes

failure to ignite
ignition electrode/spark generator

failure to detect lit flame
detection electrode/detection lead

blocked condensate pipe
or defective condensate syphonic trap

you really need an engineer to check these components
