We call it "flashing 8's" and a lot of things can cause it.
1st one of the signals that the cable provider sends to the box, we call it a "hit", will reset the box and tell it redownload
2nd I find dirty power (poor wiring, UPS or surge protector failing) can send the box spikes of power that make it think it recieved a hit.
3rd could be a problem with your cable signal. signal too high, yes it is possible to have too good a signal. maybe a bad amp in the alley behind your place or on your building. (any neighbors having trouble?)
4th maybe its a bad box.... gotta go bad sometime.
Well the first thing to ask is.....is the seat new, if so did she do this in previous seats. If the issue is new and the seat is one she did not have issues with before you can try to remove the cover to be sure nothing is poking her. Also if the straps are too snug around the thighs it will make for a rough ride for the child. If all else fails return it to the store and dont be afraid to bring her along to "Test" a different seat prior to buying it!
If the clip lights are on the unit has detected too high an input level. With nothing connected, this indicates a problem in the pre-amp section. Since this happened right out of the box, don't waste time on it. Return this for a warranty exchange.
You can work forwards from the mic to the speakers, or backwards from the speakers back to the mic. The mixer and the amp both should have lights to indicate when there is signal present -- if you don't have lights at the mixer, then you won't have any sound downstream at the speakers. In this case, the problem is with the mixer or the sound source (mic or instrument)
If you *do* have lights at the amp, then the signal is getting that far, and the problem must be with the amp or the speakers.
parallel mean that you connect speakers wire together to amp(positive side with positive side and negative side with negative side)in this situation you got less resistance from speakers and more current. i mean more sound level.
Ok this means the AMP is in protection mode!..most likely the cause is a short in your wireing from the speaker wires! check all wires going in and out of amp! Look for stray wires touching metal or other contacts! (If this does not fix it the short may be inside of amp!
(This has nothing to do with a fuse!)

Try all of the spaekers on the channel you know works. If all are fine, swap the speaker lines to test them. Is the input a DVD player on RCA cables? A bad signal cable from a component can be a source for problem. Connect the speakers directly to the amp(if possible) bypassing the sub box. If all works without the box, suspect bad crossover or in the self-powered boxes a bad amp.
