Xbox shut off during gameplay, restarted with no video.

If you both have Xbox 360s and want to play together, just buy an Xbox Live subscription and play via the Internet. Otherwise, it is impossible to play with him via Skype because your controller would not have an adequate range to connect to his console.

First goto ebay and buy a ring of lights board ( RF board ) they cost about 10.00
or just swap it out with another one if you have one . This isn't a common problem
but I have encountered it a few time and the ( RF board ) correct the problem.

I went to walmart and bought an external cooling fan for around $20. It is so worth it! otherwise, just take constant breaks every two hors and let the xbox cool down for about ten to twenty mins.

In order to record xbox gameplay on video you need to get the Capture hardware and the driver depends on the make and model number of that hardware. The drivers come free in the form CD/DVD with the capture hardware or can be downloaded from the internet if need be.

Easter Egg: Sound Credits
This occurs during your second Dark Prince transformation (this is in the large courtyard right before the first chariot sequence). In the corner of the courtyard, there will be a hole in the ceiling that respawns enemies until you leave the area. Near that is a panel you need to stab and hang from to open the exit. Climb the closest pole to the hole in the ceiling and a female voice will start announcing sound credits for the game.

Sounds like a short in the wire. Idk if you are able to buy replacement wires, thats how companies get you so you have to buy a new controller

Two red lights means your xbox is overheating during gameplay [or whenever] and shuts down and cools off for a bit. then resumes playinbg until it does it again right!

im having same problem and my brothers xbox 360 too. we think its because the laser is way to low

try to keep the box in a spot where it and the power brick can stay cool.... same thing happened to my first box eventually it got the rings of death like so many other xboxs out there... so if keeping it well aired dont work you need to ring micro soft and have it sent off for repairs before it suffers a system failure
