Got casio qt2000 till, using hospitality 1.35 build 181. Single connection to PC com3:, no printers terminal only and cash draw. Simple single bar senario, Drinks, Read takins and item groups at end of day. Can communicate to till no problems changing keyboard/plu Cannot change date on till goto PGM-1 on till enter date various formats dd/mm/yy yy/mm/dd will not accept Also cannot read daily takings no z read on till No Data transmitted (maybe because of date/time) Please can anyone help ?

    Thanks for the response, Change date and time successfully THANKS, was using yes key and not X key to finalise input.
    Still cannot get a read on Till or Hospitality software.

    Hospitality software
    Z read

    E061 Printer error - On Till
    on Hopitality software- file 058 downloads - seems to be loaded something
    Run report - report was cancelled or contains no data


    Do not know had to read on qt2000 till

    Originally setup using arrangement keys
    Function key - arrangement - file 2 record 65

    Any help on this would be much appreciated.

I think you enter date in std Casio format: PGM1 mode, Type YYMMDD then press X/TIME button
If you go to Z mode and try a report, what happens?

    I have never used the software you have mentioned, so your machine has a special IPL installed to work with a local software package. You would need to contact a local dealer to have this set up.

    To perform a daily report on the cash register,
    Press X/Z mode button
    Scroll down to Daily Z and select it.
    You will see a list of available reports
    Batch 1 report is the standard report with the info that most people need. Otherwise, choose a single report

    Hay you helped me a lot already, come from it background spent xxxxxxx hours reading manual
    still not sure whats happening.
    Because we had no backup machine, had to initialise replacement till to defaults. (no IPL file)
    However still getting E061 printer errors when trying to run reports.

    Dont know how to program till, "I have no printer just a pc connected to Till only on com port 3".
    any reports can only be displayed on screen.

    If you could tell me how to turn this off that would be a great help

Casio TE2200 stuck in INIT mode and wont let any cashier log on. I have just done a factory reset and set time, date, dept names, and cashier names. Now no-one can log on or off and it seems the till...

It sounds like you might have used the wrong clerk system in your MAC code. If you use a single clerk button on keyboard, you need clerk code set in the MAC code. If you use the clerk buttons at the top of the keyboard, you need to set clerk key in the MAC code. If you tell me the MAC code you used during the reset, I can see which system you are using.

A till won't open the cash draw tried different

It usually means the drawer wiring has been shorted out at some stage and the internal fuse (most models have a drawer fuse on the main board) has blown. Occasionally the drive transistor may have blown open also. If you want to have a go at it yourself and save some money, C-tech has a service manual here:

Once you have it, I can direct you to the relevant parts/ diagrams etc for drawer drive.

Can't reprogram bottom message on TE-220

I don't know too much about Cash Registers specifically. But do you have the guide? Look up if possibly there could be a specific button you have to press to "accept" changes.

Good question. The registers I am aware of use PC's for utilities, such as a polling program for stock, ordering, etc. It all depends on the type of store you have. If you have a retail store the question is, do you want to scan? If its hospitality then you want to get a machine with a flat keyboard. Many mid line machine from the big 3 Casio, Sharp and Samsung will do this. Then there is the upper end of the spectrum and I like the Casio's for the ease of set up and operation. The smaller machines are usually more difficult to set up.

Printer roll

* check the power outlet is fine

* check the connections you have made is properly connected or not

*see the power cord is fixed properly if properly fixed change the cord and see

*please put ur till roll at right place
