You're in Stereo mode.

Try three things:

1) See if your receiver is in Stereo mode.
2) You can change your audio preferences from within your DVD menu from Stereo to surround.
3) Change receiver and dvd audio menu options to Dolby ProLogic surround.

How to hook up psw350 polkaudio powered subwoofer

A powered subwoofer is fed the sw line output provided by the receiver. If lacking, then the woofer might have connections to it from the speaker outputs of your receiver.

Connect them in phase, make sure your sw is in phase with other speakers and balance the sw output.

Speaker hook

Hi it's a problem in the set up . This model , like few other in the line have the possibility to switch the "back speakers" ( through harness or RCA) into "BASS SPEAKERS" what give you a possibility to hook up a Sub without an extra amp .
To switch it back just follow the Section 2 / Sw control of this link http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticFiles/Manuals/Car/DEH-3300UB_OwnersManual0902.pdf

Sub woofer not working hear connection. but no sound switch connection and works. is S.W channel bad. How do i tell? All other channel are working.

you have tried the SW on other channels and it worked right? Have you tried other speakers on the SW channel? I think it is more likely that your SW channel's volume is too low or it is turned off in the options somewhere.

I just installed a Denon 1610 A/V. I used my speakers from a older Sony 5.1 channel home theater system (DAV-S300). I got all the speakers to work except for the subwoffer. In order to hook-up the SW, I...

If you go to Manual setup/ select speaker setup/ select bass setting/ does it show LFE? If it does it is sending to main speakers only and you'll need to change to LFE+Main.

TRYING TO HOOK UP MU POWER BUTTON NEED TO KNOW

Hi there
The front panel connectors are mainly,
  • harddisk activity connector
  • power switch connector
  • reset switch connector
  • power LED connector
  • speakers connector
  • USB connector
Harddisk activity connector
This normally comes red in colour and is labeled as HDD-LED
Power switch connector
This comes green in colour and is labeled as POWER-SW
Reset switch connector
This usually comes grey in colour and is labeled as RST-SW
Power LED connector
This is usually green in colour and is labled as PWR-LED
Speakers connector
This speaker will give different beep sounds during boot to tell the user if there is any errors. It occupies 4 pins, however only 2 is important for the function. Be sure to connect the red coloured cable to the positive polarity and the black to the negative.

Hooking my Neo4 mobo back up.

Hi weeman105, case wire colors do vary from case to case. The most common case wire colors for negative are "white & black". All other colors like blue, green, red orange are most commonly "positive". The four pin connector with only the ends with wires is the internal speaker. Most boards use one set of pins where you hook everything up. The MSI K8N Neo4-F uses two separate motherboard pins, Front Panel Connectors: JFP1 & JFP2 as shown on the top page 2-19. Now that you know what color is positive & which is negative things should work out just fine.
Downloaded manual from MSI link: http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloadfile&dno=4117&type=manual
If you run into any other troubles, just post & we'll go from there.

Good luck weeman105!

Can't get the surround sound to play the rear speakers and small front speaker

Sounds like it's just in 2 channel stereo mode, only 2 speakers working out of 5 and a sub, look for a selector switch for switching to 5.1 surround, as far as the no video problem try replacing the cable for the video connection.
