What are the head gasket torque patterens

Invariably starting in the centre and working outwards to tighten and the reverse to release.

Some manufacturers favour a spiral pattern and some diagonal opposites but there is little to choose between them in matters of results.

How to adjust flame on propane freezer

You do not adjust the flame on the freezer. It is a preset flame. The orifice is a man made ruby that is laser cut with a spiral through it. Running a fine wire through the orifice will damage the spiral cut and cause the flame to fail. Blowing compressed air through could dislodge the ruby and remove it or cause it to be at the wrong angle which will cause the flame to fail. The way to clean the orifice is by soaking it in denatured alcohol then allow it to air dry. The burner tube also has preset slots that should not be tampered with other than making sure that they are not clogged. The igniter also serves as a flame sense monitor and should be approximately 1/8" above the burner tube.

I have a craftsman LT2000 with an 18.5 hp Briggs. The starter motor will spin fine but won't engage the flywheel. It just sits in the lower position and spins. What is the fix?

They are inertia drive pinions, it must be binding on the spiral section. You can try lubricating it with silicon spray or replacing the pinion. Also check that the battery is fully charged or the pinion won't throw in properly. Regards Phil.

My Shimano Alvio 3-speed front shifter has

rough guess, from past life of bmx.
there should be a cable that runs down to the mechanism, the cable is secured by a small nut, loosen the nut and pull the cable a little more out of the nut with pliers. tighten the nut, and try the linkage.
the shift cable stretches over time and your actually gonna make a small adjustment to compensate for the stretch. by just pulling the cable thru the locking nut to make it shorter.

I change the gearbox oil on tr4a. 10 miles later, it will only engage 2nd gear. any ideas

Standard shift? I assume this as it is the most common version. No matter, Check your fluid level. If it is a standard shift you may need to adjust the clutch and or throw out bearing.

How can I keep my 2 stage snowblower in high?

I will assume you are referring to the 2 stages in the front of the machine. The spiral auger rakes are the first stage, they are designed to collect the snow and feed it to the impeller. The impeller is the 2nd stage and is to throw the snow up the chute. The lower rakes in the front do nopt throw snow only collect it.
