This may caused due to the media or the lens.
Try by
1.putting new empty disc. 2.Get a lens cleaner and clean the lens it will be ok.

Hello.The problem is not in your television.It is in the DVD player,your player did not read the cd because,either your cd or the lens player is dirty.Now,try to clean the cd first then insert,if the "no disc "appear again try to clean the lens of your player using lens cleaner.Then if the cd and the lens is clean it may play.Thanks

I have EZ Dupe 7 duplicator . It can not duplicate DVD to DVD , the message appear in the screen is "CAN'T DUPLICAT DVD TO CD " but I put blank DVD into the drives even I tried for more...

I would suggest uninstalling the software, reinstalling it and then making sure that you have all of your updates on the software and the firmware updates on the DVD drive.

clean the lens, try another CD.
If neither of these work, the laser is likely gone, and you'll have to replace the drive.
Oh, lens cleaning...GENTLY wipe with a q tip with rubbing alcohol on it.

PHILIPS CDR 870 FLASHING "OPCFAIL" AND WON'T RECORD

I HAVE A PHILIPS CDR 870 "OPC FAIL" PROBLEM. I HAVE RECORDED ONTO CD-RW, AND NOT YET FINALISED THE DISK AFTER RECORDING, IN ORDER THAT I CAN GO BACK LATER TO ADD FURTHER RECORDINGS. AFTER SWITCHING THE MACHINE BACK ON OPC THEN OPC FAIL FOLLOWS, EVEN WITH NEW DISKS CD-R AND CD-RW. MGHT THE MACHINE ITSELF REQUIE CLEANING OR IS THIS A FAULT? I AM USING MAXCELL DISKS, BOTH TYPES.
