Probably it is the ActiveX settings of your computer.
First Uninstall Yahoo Messenger.
Run RegEdit then back up your registry. right-click on the computer icon and click export to back-up your registry, save it anywhere you want.
Then go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ find the yahoo folder then delete it. and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ find the yahoo folder then delete it.
Run search>>>All files and folders Type YAHOO in "all or part of the file name:" lock in your local hardrive>>choose more advance option check the search for hidden files. Delete all files of yahoo.
uninstall your internet explorer. go to RegEdit >>> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ then delete the zone folder. Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ then delete the zone folder.
Download Registry Cleaner to clean up your registry. Restart your computer.
Download and install internet explorer after download go to>>> internet option>>>Security>>> Reset all zone to default value or enable your activeX
Download and install Yahoo Messenger.
