- I have the same problem. I found a web site that tells the codes and it mean that the vent is stuck open. u in the code really means v. Now we just have to figure out how to fix it. Mine is two years old and not under warranty.Mary

It means there is something wrong with the vent. My dishwasher is 6 months old and I had it replaced at about 3 months and it just happened again tonight.... Took about a week and a half for the part to come in and if it is under warranty, they will repair. From what I remember, it was somewhat difficult for the repairman to get at.
