Part # for the handle is 75765-3. You should be able to order thru a local service repair shop.

Looking for the roller part number for Eureka 2961AVZ. The ball bearing on one of the side broke on the existing roller.

You should be able to find the roller you are looking for at this URL:

I took the filter assembly apart, now I can't get it back together. There's a silver medal ring, a big cotton back, an inner plastic seal and an outer plastic seal. Somehow, they all fit back together....

The cotton bag wraps around the hepa filter - the blue plastic part will not be visible once the bag is in place. The silver ring sits inside the cotton bag to hold the sides of the bag against the sides of the vacuum top-half. DON'T pull the plastic inner seal and outer seal apart. They snap together and snap onto the lip of the vacuum top-half. It's a bit of a struggle snapping the seal back onto the lip.

Handle broke off when Vacuuming?

Two screws hold that handle onto the machine. Maybe they weren't installed when the machine was put together.
If it broke part of the dust compartment, it's probably not worth fixing.
If it broke part of the handle you can order a new one for about $30.00. It's part #75765-2.

Floppy handle

you have to take the base cover off to find out what broke, there are some screws on the bottom remove those to take the bottom plate off then, then up inside there are more screws to on the top remove the emblem and take that screw out ,that should expose the whole inside of the base.look towards the back where the peddle is and see if there is any pieces laying loose,if there are then you will have to buy the pedal assembl.feel free to call me if you need me to walk you through it.314-628-9153

Will not start ...I get a momentary flicker of power about every 3rd or 4th time that I flick on the power switch. Outlet is fine / Plug looks good / cord looks good / I see no obstructions ........Would appreciate any helpful thoughts ....Trying to get Mom's Eureka 2961AVZ back up and running. Thanks

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. It sounds to me that you may have a bad switch or the worst scenario would be a bad motor and or armature, and the armature is almost the cost of the new motor, so I would replace the motor, but check the switch and the cord because sometimes the cord looks good but there might be broken wires inside the cord that you can’t see. If the vacuum is less than one year old the motor would be covered under the factory warranty if one year and maybe the switch as well. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
