LG Mint Chocolate forgot the security code and need to know how to reset it

SOURCE: I forgot my phone lock code for my lg chocolate

okay you need to type the last four digits of you phone number which was the original code upon purchasing the phone, then press the pound button right after. type the four dgits and then immediently the pound sign. you might have to try it a couple of times before you get it. this is how many people are able to use locked phones that are stolen. my friend who works at a verizon fios taught me this when i locked and forgot my passcode.

call*228 and push 1 wen they start talkin and it will reset it and the code will be ur last 4 didgits of ur number

3)selcet "Factory Reset", now it will reboot. now OK!

Don't worry, put in lock code to unlock. The default is 1234 or 12345

3. Tap Reset settings
4. Tap Yes to the question All settings will be reset. Continue?
5. Enter the security code 0000 then tap OK

5. Tap Reset
6. Tap Yes to the question Do you want to delete licenses also?
7. Tap Yes to the question All data will be cleared Continue?
